Trivia[]
- This episode alludes to a sci-fi, television show, Quantum Leap.
- This is the first episode with "A true luchador..." statement to be said by Buena Girl.
- During the flashback, Sr. Hasbeena mentions that the 1970s had Roller Lucha, which potentially foreshadows Roller Lucha as a competitive sport in "Buena on Wheels".
- This is the first episode to show flashbacks other than time-traveling back to the 1970s.
- Back in the 1970s, it reveals that he was formerly a masked wrestler named Sr. Couldabeena.
- After Rikochet's signature move created a rip of a space-time continuum, a small part of his black hair was revealed from the mask.
- Inside the portal, some objects are seen, but have different designs such as red lava lamp, peace symbol, hand peace sign, platform shoes, disco, and casual pants.
- As Sr. Hasbeena goes back in time to the 1970s, there are several things that are alternating:
- Every page of The Code of Masked Wrestling disappears, which became blank and unfinished.
- Snow Pea transforms into a smiling banana monster.
- Masked Dog transforms into a human with its mask remains.
- Many chairs vanished from the classroom.
- French Twist becomes a clown-based masked wrestler, instead of a mime-based masked wrestler.
- El Perrito, Minotoro, Francisco of the Forest, and Penny Plutonium fused themselves by transforming into a hideous, four-headed monster with tentacles and extra mouths.
- When Buena Girl is thrown across the audience, she lands on Headmistress, who appears as a young adult before the 70s photographer takes a picture with them.
- Sr. Hasbeena uses his first signature moves, "Funkay Disco Ball", only for the disco ball to flash over the arena, which caused Sr. Couldabeena to lose his vision and lost the match like in the flashback.
- Back in the present, Rikochet stated that nothing is changed from the past as everything went back the way it was. However, many Buena Girl clones are seen in the classroom and asks Sr. Hasbeena, if it would be on the test, similar to what Buena Girl asked Sr. Hasbeena earlier in the episode.
Goofs[]
- There are few clones of Pumpkin-themed Luchador and Orange Sea Creature-themed Luchador that are seen in the audience.
