"The Naked and the Masked" is the second segment of the 4th episode in the first season of ¡Mucha Lucha!. It aired on September 14, 2002, on Kids' WB and on March 26, 2004, on Cartoon Network.
Synopsis[]
Rikochet wakes up one morning without his mask on! He's lost it! A masked wrestler without a mask is simply a wrestler. Rikochet must make it through the day without letting anyone know he's maskless until he can find his own mask and rightly redeem his honor and face as a masked wrestler... simply by putting his mask back on.

Trivia[]
- This is the only episode where Rikochet is completely unmasked when he lost his mask.
- In some scenes, his short, black hair is revealed on both front and back in some shots of the background.
- In the fences, it clearly shows his entire face, even when he was walking to The Flea's house. It is also shown again in the hallway of The Foremost World-Renowned International School of Lucha.
- Although, Rikochet didn't lose his mask completely, but he left it in his backpack to remember where he left it.
- Rikochet tries to protect his face by wearing different objects such as underwear, cereal box, two donuts, and a paper bag.
- Rikochet only revealed his actual face to The Flea since he knows that he can trust him as a friend, only to be laughed at him.
- Rikochet referred Buena Girl to his friend, Spicy Rikotony that alludes to Spicy Rigatoni.
- When El Loco Mosquito bumps into a spray can of Mask o' Rade, the spray can alludes to an insecticide product, Raid.
Goofs[]
- While Mama Maniaca cooks two pancakes, the cereal and the bowl are flying on the table.
- When Rikochet chants, "I've got my mask on", he was wearing his mask until he wasn't wearing his outfit and shoes inside the classroom.
