"The Man from M.A.S.K." is the first segment of the 1st episode in the second season of ¡Mucha Lucha!. It aired on September 13, 2003, on Kids' WB, and on July 9, 2004, on Cartoon Network.
Synopsis[]
As a reward for bravery, Rikochet is given a secret weapon - a spy gadget that gives him a advantage in the ring - an unfair advantage.[1]

- The title of the episode is a reference to a fictional spy, television series and the 2015 film adaptation, The Man from U.N.C.L.E..
- Starting with this episode, The Three Mascaritas no longer appears to quote moral lessons during the title card sequence. Instead, it plays the title card with only music.
- There are several scenes including gadgets and outfits that serves as a references to the famous James Bond films.
- On the foreground, it resembles the most iconic, gun barrel in opening sequence of every James Bond films without any characters shown.
- As Rikochet faces the camera, a gun barrel from James Bond films is shown once again serving as the transition to the patrons of Slammin' Donuts, unlike the title card sequence.
- It served the transition once more before the episode ends and the camera closes the scene.
- Most gadgets from El Gizmotrono are used for various situations, which alludes to the James Bond's many gadgets in various James Bond films.
- Primadonna Hodges holds a white cat and petting it refers to a James Bond's archenemy, Ernst Stavro Blofeld with a white cat, minus the dress.
- Heavy Traffic uses a soda as a laser, which alludes to the iconic laser scene in Goldfinger.
- Rikochet's spy car resembles Sunbeam Alpine featured in Dr. No.
- On the foreground, it resembles the most iconic, gun barrel in opening sequence of every James Bond films without any characters shown.
- Lonestar asks Rikochet if he considered using a half nelson with a full hitch. This move refers to a grappling hold known as, Half nelson hold used in wrestling matches.
- When The Three Mascaritas play Lu-Chi-Oh!, the three cards are a reference to Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise and along with its trading card game.
- The Red-Eyed Dragon card is also a reference to Yu-Gi-Oh! with a name being similar to Blue-Eyes White Dragon.
- Soviet Crunch's weapon resembles Hammer and sickle as a communist symbol of Soviet Union flag.
- Rikochet's parachute resembles the United Kingdom flag.
- Sr. Midcarda whistling animation from the first season is reused before the rematch begins.
Goofs[]
- Inside the orange car, the man with blue shirt's pupils is not shown before the camera pans.
- While The Flea runs to Rikochet, he doesn't appear through the frame until he ran behind Buena Girl.
- When Lonestar is proud of Rikochet's hard work, his skin color extends below his arms.
- Before Rikochet finishes speaking, Buena Girl's hair pops up next to him.
