Terry Klassen (born March 31, 1957) is a Canadian voice actor, director, and writer. He was known for voicing many characters in animation including Baby Sylvester in Baby Looney Tunes, Tusky Husky in Krypto the Superdog, and various characters such as Krillin and Master Roshi in the Ocean Productions' dub of Dragon Ball Z.
He voiced Abuelito in the series, including the Direct-to-Video film, The Return of El Maléfico, as well as voicing additional characters in both the show and the movie.
Biography[]
Before he worked in the animation field, he formerly worked with radio stations in Canada. He most notably worked with CITI-FM (Winnipeg), (Q107) (Toronto), CFAC (Calgary) and CFRY (Portage la Prairie). He also had a part-time job at CFOX and CFMI.
He started his animation career by becoming a voice director for The Adventures of Mowgli. He later became a voice actor for the first Gundam anime, Mobile Suit Gundam, in which he voices Quaran. Throughout the years, he voiced many characters in anime including the collaboration with the Canadian dubbing company, Ocean Productions. He started his voice acting in cartoon with G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero (1989) as the voice of Topside.
He was also an ADR director for starting with the anime, Ranma ½. He later co-created with Ian James Corlett to produce a Corus Entertainment and Wildbrain's, Yvon of the Yukon. He continues to work as a voice director throughout his career as well as voice acting in animated series, films, and anime.
