Protozoa is a microorganism-themed masked wrestler who attends the Foremost World-Renowned International School of Lucha. He is a minor character of the ¡Mucha Lucha! series.
Appearance[]
Protozoa is a short, chubby boy with brown skin and a blob-shaped head. His mask and costume are both periwinkle with lighter-colored spots that are outlined in purple. Interestingly, he is one of the few Luchadores in the series whose mask is not fastened in the back with laces. He also wears short white boots with black laces.
Personality[]
In the episode "El Nino Loco", Protozoa is shown to be interested in science and have some knowledge of chemistry, as the signature move he used involved shrinking down to microscopic size and causing water to evaporate.

Trivia[]
- He is one of the few luchadores in the Foremost World-Renowned International School of Lucha whose hair color is unknown.
- In "Kid Wombat", he is voiced by Colin Murdock.
- He was originally had three different names before considering his actual name for the show: Osmosis, Protozoa and Amiba. However, Protozoa was chosen to be his actual name, while other two names were not chosen.
- One of the original names, "Osmosis" is based on the main character, "Ozzy" (aka Osmosis) who is also a cell from the Warner Bros. Animated movie, "Osmosis Jones".
- Ironically, his signature move, "Protoplasm" was originally going to be called "Osmosis", based on his original name.
- His name is based on the single-celled organism with the same name who are also known as eukaryotes.
