Peter Hastings (born January 9, 1960) is an American writer and producer who is known for writing episodes from various shows. He was mainly involved in various animated series as a writer, producer, and director. He studied music before he became part of the animation industry and he is still playing music even after graduating. He was known for writing episodes from animated shows such as Animaniacs, Tiny Toon Adventures, Pinky and the Brain, Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness, and Catscratch.

He wrote some of the episodes from the second season of ¡Mucha Lucha!.
