"Not So Buena Girl" is the second segment of the 10th episode in the first season of ¡Mucha Lucha!. It aired on November 30, 2002, on Kids' WB and on May 7, 2004, on Cartoon Network.
Synopsis[]
Buena Girl gets a fortune donut with a bum fortune. It says she will never succeed at masked wrestling... that she should just throw in the towel. Masked wrestling is her life, and she plummets into a deep funk. Rikochet and The Flea try to revive her interest in life by proving the fortune donut wrong.
Plot[]
Buena Girl finds a Fortune Donut at Slammin' Donut. But everyone wants it. So they all fight over the Fortune Donut, and Buena Girl wins. However she is disappointed by the fortune that said she is not a good masked wrestler. The Flea steals a fortune that says that everyone wants to be him. Rikochet and the Flea are going to try to cheer up Buena Girl, because masked wrestling meant everything to her. Buena Girl is disposing of all of her lucha trophies, awards, and memories. Rikochet and Buena Girl try to convince her to stop (well, not The Flea) but it doesn't work.
Buena Girl wakes up from her sleep, to be greeted by Rikochet and The Flea to try to convince her to go the Foremost World Renowned International School of Lucha, but Buena Girl doesn't even wanna get out of bed. So Rikochet and The Flea carry Buena Girl's bed to the school. Rikochet is going to try to disobey the Code of Masked Wrestling, because he thinks it will snap Buena Girl out of it. At the Lucha School, Rikochet tells Buena Girl he is considering cheating on the test. Buena Girl doesn't seem to care (but the Headmistress does).
So the Mascaritas and Buena Girl's family are watching masked soap operas together. Buena Girl still doesn't care. So Rikochet threatens to turn the TV off (before The Flea breaks it on accident). So the Buena Parents are off to get a new TV. Rikochet and The Flea retreat to Slammin' Donuts. Their only chance to restore Buena Girl is donuts (honor, family, and tradition did not work).
So Rikochet makes a new fortune donut. It says "Buena Girl is a great masked wrestler." Rikochet gets mad, and then tries to steal Buena Girl's mask - since she hates masked wrestling now, she no longer needs it. But Buena Girl finally snaps out of it and gets mad and kicks Rikochet's and The Flea's butts. It turns out someone else got Buena Girl's fortune - Senor Estupido.
