Trivia[]
- The title of the episode is a reference to a sports film, Field of Dreams.
- This episode is loosely based on a horror film, Wes Craven's New Nightmare, the seventh entry of A Nightmare on Elm Street franchise.
- French Twist's dialogue signs are a reference to how Wile E. Coyote communicates by holding up signs from Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner shorts.
- This is the only episode to reveal partially unmasked students and teachers from The Foremost World-Renowned International School of Lucha except for The Three Mascaritas.
- However, as some students and teachers cover their face to not show their actual face, some parts of their face and hair are seen or covered from their terrifying expression.
- El Haystack Grande and Sonic Sumo's nose are seen from their masks as the crows pecks on their mask, even before most students are unmasked by the crows.
- El Perrito and French Twist are the only students to not reveal their hair from their mask.
- El Perrito's face was buried in the ground, despite his hair was previously shown in "I Was a Pre-Teenage Chupacabra".
- The Flea doesn't laugh at anyone for not wearing a mask on, despite laughing at Rikochet for losing his mask in "The Naked and the Masked" and at Penny for losing her mask to Mysterioso Grande in her dream in "Nightmare on Lucha Street".
- Mysterioso Grande breaks the fourth wall to the viewers by telling them "Hola. Remember me?"
- In the original storyboard, Sr. Hasbeena was terrified of geese. In the final version, Mr. Midcarda was terrified by geese instead of Sr. Hasbeena.[2]
- As Mysterioso Grande grabs El Perrito's mask and calling him "Masked Dog", in which alludes him as a dog-based wrestler.
Goofs[]
- French Twist had part of his hair shown from his partially covered face after Mysterioso Grande took all students' mask. When he appeared again, his hair was covered by his top hat.
- Double Ninja Ninja was not seen in the crowd of students in the first half but then appears without his mask with other students without their masks.
- When some masks fell from Dream World, French Twist's mask was not seen, but when the students are cheering, he had his mask on.
- When the students were stroking in their arms after pinching each other, Sonic Sumo's nose is missing.
- One of the crows has El Haystack Grande's mask with a hat attached, however in the next scene, he holds his hat to hide his face.
