Ernie Altbacker (born February 20, 1966) is an American writer and producer who is known for writing episodes from various shows. He was mainly involved in the different fields of animation from animated series and recently worked on direct-to-video films from Warner Bros. Animation. He was known for writing episodes from shows such as Static Shock, Ben 10: Omniverse, Spider-Man: The Animated Series, and Green Lantern: The Animated Series.

He wrote some of the episodes from the second season of ¡Mucha Lucha!.
