El Gundamo is a monster-themed masked wrestler-in-training who attends the Foremost World-Renowned International School of Lucha. He was formerly a student from a "Bad Guy" classroom in Room 207 and is one of the supporting characters of the ¡Mucha Lucha! series.
Appearance[]
El Gundamo is a monster-themed wrestler about the same size as Rikochet. He wears an elaborate green and purple mask with large horns and spikes and purple triangular eye holes. Unlike most other Luchadors, whose masks fit closely to their heads and are laced in the back, El Gundamo's mask obscures the shape of his head and is held in place with a thin band at the back of his head. He has black hair that goes down slightly past his shoulders. His costume is mostly green, with a purple oval area in the center front. His purple gloves each have two spikes on them. He also wears black boots with purple areas where the laces are and white circles on the sides.
Personality[]
El Gundamo enjoys showing off, which often gets him in trouble. He aims to be the monster warden of Little Tokyo and takes lessons from his mentor Kyoto. The episodes "The Collector" and "Attack of the Luchabots" reveal that he has an interest in technology and inventing. Though he can be cowardly when things get bad, El Gundamo eventually steps up to face the problem. The episode "Niko Sushi's Happy Battle Funtime" reveals that he can guess what something is simply by feeling it against his body, as various objects were poured into his costume during a game show.

Trivia[]
- His name is a parody of the Japanese anime series Mobile Suit Gundam.
- In Season 1, his mask had shades over his eyes (similar to Penny Plutonium), but in Season 2, his eyes were visible from under the eye holes of his mask.
- This change in his design coincides with the shift in El Gundamo's role in the show from a minor antagonist to a friendlier supporting character.
