"Calling All Monsters" is the first segment of the 3rd episode in the second season of ¡Mucha Lucha!. It aired on September 27, 2003, on Kids' WB, and on July 23, 2004, on Cartoon Network.
Synopsis[]
The Mascaritas accompany El Gundamo to Little Tokyo to watch him defend the city from giant sushi monsters - but it's they who do the defending as Gundamo runs and hides. Along with his master Kyoto, they help Gudamo find his hero's heart and his signature move.[1]
Plot[]
The Flea makes a super huge donut by squirting too much jelly in it, then it explodes. El Gundamo tells the Mascaritas about giant sushi monsters in Tokyo. The Mascaritas agree to go. El Gundamo shows the Mascaritas around town, and says the monsters are endangered. Buena Girl refuses, but then sees the monsters attacking buildings. El Gundamo says they must lure them back in the sea. El Gundamo will distract them from behind as the Mascaritas attack head-on.
Then, The Three Mascaritas creates a tag-team signature move. The Fabulous Flea Fling, where The Flea farts on the monsters. The Buena Mallet of Righteous and the Spinning Top send those monsters straight into the sea. El Gundamo was apparently away fighting eels larger than those sushi monsters.
They go to the Monster Warden's Headquarters. The warden is a pink bunny, Kyoto. The Flea laughs at him, but then he levitates The Flea, proving him wrong. Kyoto also shows them their viewing computer thing where they can see all kinds of monster attacks. As Kyoto sends El Gundamo and the Mascaritas out, King Prawn shows up.
King Prawn attacks the warden's HQ when The Flea's team move fails and the Flea is blasted away. Rikochet and Buena Girl try to attack but are caught in his rice and are thrown away and tied up in sushi as well. El Gundamo was hiding in a trash can the whole time and says that he will hide while the others save the city. Kyoto finds The Flea and says that he must create a diversion while he uses his powers. He levitates King Prawn toward the sea, but then loses his power.
El Gundamo notices Kyoto is about to die when he goes to do something, when The Flea finds a vending machine of Happy Time Lucky Sugar Drink, which is broken open. He decides to drink some, then gets high on energy and threatens King Prawn, but El Gundamo is already kicking butt. The Flea saves Kyoto, then Gundamo uses his Tsunami Slam to send King Pron into the sea. So they celebrate with a plate of donuts, when a giant jelly donut monster attacks. The Flea will handle this one alone.
